Galerie 208 X GURU Design Fair

Fin de l’offre:

From September 11 to 16, 2021, and during the famous Paris Design Week, the private mansion of the Cornette de Saint Cyr auction house will host the very first edition of GURU, a fair specialized in Craft & Contemporary Design.

François Epin & Graziella Semerciyan, two passionate people, are at the origin of this original project, attentive to new ways of creating porosity between the muffled world of auction houses and that of design and current know-how.
An approach often reserved for luxury houses and events such as Maison & Objet or il Salone del Mobile.

Spread over the three floors of this prestigious mansion, GURU offers a privileged and intimate format to discover a selection of jewelry, objects and furniture.

The show will be an opportunity to discover what artists, designers and craftsmen propose as current alternatives for thinking about daily life through exceptional objects and furniture.

GURU invites you to follow these initiators of new lifestyles, new ways of seeing and thinking.
of seeing and thinking.

Meet our Designers at the GURU Design Fair

For this edition of the GURU fair, the gallery presents its collection of limited editions of sculptural design. On the border between art and design, the work and its functionality are no longer opposed. While design joins art in the experience it inspires, the notion of function is overcome to give substance to that of sculpture.
We can thus project ourselves into the form, outside of time and use, for a renewed experience. In this timeless aesthetic cycle, materials and their properties are constantly questioned by a mysterious and organic poetics.
