Stefan Leo is a designer and craftsman who, with his workshop, has built a reputation for unique interior objects. ‘Firstly it is our product language which is pretty unique. We are working fully across the board integrating all kinds of crafts and materials and then some. Be it bronze, leather, steel, glass etc etc – and/or the combination of all. That is quite unique. I do not know many other studios working in this way.’
His work
Stefan Leo’s pieces are composed of natural elements, assembled and worked for a sculptural rendering of great elegance.
Ceramic, glass, wood, all these elements have properties and virtues of their own. The relationship with the works of Stefan Leo can be made by the eye, but also by the touch. His glass pastes, all in depth with pigments encrusted in layers, are as much energy captured in the material.
His creations have already seduced major names such as Dior and Louis Vuitton, whose boutiques he dresses internationally. The objects of Atelier Stefan Leo and its designers Stefan Leo and Hans-J. Pahl reflect the love of timeless lines and the playful approach of accepting no limits by merging the particular skills of its team of passionate craftsmen.
